JavaScript Job: API Tester

Responsibilities:

· Working as a member of a scrum team to develop, execute high quality reusable test cases for Microservices with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API’s

· Perform tasks required for manual and automated test implementation including review acceptance criteria (Cucumber/Gherkin scripts), create integration/regression test scenarios, test cases, implement test data management strategy, and generate required reports in JIRA

· Contributing within a SAFe environment including the Daily scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, Backlog grooming, Sprint/System Demos, PI Planning, and Inspect & Adapt events

Required Skills/Experience:

· 5+ of related experience testing REST, JSON, and backend APIs (SOAP UI, PostMan, or ReadyAPI)

· Ability to write and execute automated test scripts

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

· U.S. Citizen with existing or the ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation

Desired Skills/Experience:

· Knowledge of common web development frameworks (Angular, Docker, React, Spring, Node.js, jQuery, Microservice Design, etc.)

· Experience working in a Database and running mySQL queries

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
